Most computer displays produced today have a default 1024x768 pixels setting, however some older, smaller displays run at 800x600 pixels. To combat this we have provided a series of basic instructions on how to change your display settings to 1024x768 pixels or greater. Select the operating system you are using from the list below.

WINDOWS PC

Windows XP Display Settings
Windows 98 or ME Display Settings

APPLE MAC

OS9 Display Settings
OSX Display Settings

REDUCED SIZE - 800 x 600 pixels

FULL SIZE - 1024 x 768 pixels

Windows PC - XP Display Settings

Go to Start menu > Control Panel > double click Display icon.

(Alternatively you can right click on the desktop > select Properties which takes you straight into the Display window).

Select the settings tab at the top of the Display window > move the slider to change the screen resolution to a minimum of 1024x768 pixels. Select OK. You display will now change to a higher resolution.

To reset, simply follow the same process but select your previous display setting.

Windows PC - 98, ME Display Settings

Go to Start menu > select Settings > Control Panel > double click Display icon.

Apple Macintosh - System 9.x Display Settings

Go to Apple menu > select Control Panels > select Monitors. Choose from the resolution list to change the screen resolution to a minimum of 1024x768 pixels or greater. Your screen will immediately change resolution. Close the Monitors window.

To reset simply follow the same process selecting your previous display setting.

Apple Macintosh - OSX (10.x) Display Settings

Go to Apple menu > select System Preferences > select Displays. Click the display tab and choose from the resolution list to change the resolution to 1024x768 pixels or greater. Close the System Preferences window.
